At the last session the therapist lost track of time and opened the proverbial can of worms at the end of the session. When it was clear that this "therapeutic approach" was not working and that we were past our time the therapist concluded the session, instead of helping to get the worms back into the can they openned. Not sure about all of the negative reviews, but my experience with Bluegrass has been great so far! My provider listens to my concerns and I am able to easily schedule a follow-up appointment with her to keep up with my treatment plan.

Dr Mathis is an amazing psychiatrist with a ton of experience. He always makes himself available to his patients and will go out of his way to help them. Just generally a good guy. I've had multiple psychiatrists (and he's by far the best) and therapists, but he's the only one I've dealt with at Bluegrass Psychiatry. The front desk staff are very helpful and knowledgeable as well.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mathis for 4 years or so. He is an amazing doctor and man. Has saved my life many times and is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He cares a lot about his patients and it shows. He is always there for me. Grateful for Bluegrass Psychiatry!
