My husband went in Sunday with a torn meniscus could hardly walk one of the other nurses there said she had the same thing and she had to get surgery. It is now Thursday. My husband still cannot walk and they tried to send him back to work a very heavy duty job. It’s very physical. They tried to send my husband back to work on Tuesday. Beware! This hospital incorporate doctors from outside the area. When you come to the emergency room you're confronted by a doctor asking you to sign a paper so they can treat you. Don't do it. Ask for a resident doctor even though there aren't any on call in the emergency room. Reason: The Hospital will bill your insurance for Doctor, staff and equipment. Which most insurance will cover. But the sham is this, signing that paper allows a doctor that isn't a resident at that hospital to double bill your insurance for Doctor, ... read more

Great doctors and nurses friendly efficient medical staff very helpful wish the hospital still kept patients and still did surgeries and birthed babies much preferred the bluefield regional hospital over princeton community hospital. Thank you
