Best breakfast I have had in a long time, I will keep going back.
The huevos epsteinos are the best breakfast creation known to human beings. Everything on the menu is delicious. Always had a 100% positive experience here.
We were there on the morning of the Michigan v Iowa game. It was super busy and the service was still great as well as the food prompt and delicious! Great place for breakfast.
Second time back, and it did not disappoint. Hard to believe for Nov. 1, and people were sitting outside. Inside, very casual and relaxed. Quality food and quality service. Even the coffee was solid.

This is the third year we have come to Iowa City for a conference. We discovered the Blue Bird the first year and ate there three times on that visit. We have looked forward to coming back for the amazing breakfast each year. Last year we were only able to make it for a dinner, which was very good but not excellent like the breakfasts.
