This is the best bike shop in town. My near-new bike, purchased from an online-only manufacturer, was having some difficult-to-diagnose pulsing in the rear brake. I was disappointed by the service at another shop, where they just swapped out the brake pads and clearly did not ride or test the bike after to see if the service made any difference. The service at this shop is terrific. They always have time to fit me in the work schedule and are pleasant people. I’m very happy I bought my $5,000 road bike at this shop.
Everything! I have bought several Bikes from them and have had many repairs and great service. These guys are knowledgeable about the product line and can help pick the best bike for your need, and provide courteous expect service when you have problems. I can’t recommend them any more highly.
In my biased opinion, Blue Wheel is the best bike shop in the C’ville area. They include the first year of service on new bike purchases, they don’t charge for using their demo bikes and their Specialized frames come with a lifetime warranty. I have been a customer of Blue Wheel Bicycles since 1973!!! ( it was a Gitane). They have fixed more bikes for me, sold more bikes to me, and sat at the bench and talked more times to me than you can imagine. Roger, Scott, Paul and Jon have made my day so often! They are excellent mechanics and salesmen, and I must say the best bike shop who’s doors I have ever darkened. Don’t miss the opportunity to stop by and meet them.
I bought my bike here about two years ago when I moved to town. It's a great bike and the guys in the shop have been incredibly helpful. It's hard to beat their first year of free service with the purchase of a new bike!
These friendly folks took my disassembled, sadly under-maintained bike and made it strong, safe and beautiful again. Highly recommended for repairs and advice.
