Blue Water Taco Grill is a great lunch option in the tunnels Another great lunch option in the Union Square tunnels. The prices are great for the amount of high quality food you get. Not a huge amount of seating, but if you get the food to go, you'll find plenty of seating options close by.
Weekday Lunch Option Convenient location; close to the Convention Center downtown and the tunnels that connect much of below-ground Union/Univeristy streets. The food is good, comparable to Taco del Mar, and the taco salad is my preferred item on the menu. Quick service.

Fresh Mexican Food The food at Blue Water Taco Grill is fresh and very good. They have a variety of salsa to choose from and the usual meats - beef, chicken, seafood. My personal favorite is the shrimp burrito. It is very large and will feed two people. The staff at this place is very friendly and nice. The service is extremely fast for it being cooked in front of your eyes.
