Got my nails filled in yesterday. I’ll give the situation Two Stars for the fill in, color and the designs. The PROBLEM: The next morning after putting my hands in water my thumb nail paint came up!!! I had to pull the excess off! I looked at my left thumb, SAME PROBLEM. The polish is CLUMPED in the corner. Now when I get off of work I have to return to get those nails polished again. PLUS one of my middle nails has a slight line of white paint from the design. I broke one of my nails and had to get it fixed. I'm visiting the city so wasn't sure where to go and we ended up at this place. The experience was bad. The woman wasn't gentle whatsoever, she made almost no effort to make the nail the same shape or size as the others, and the nail just turned out pretty bad. My other nails are black with a bit of a sparkle ombre on the tips, and she didn't attempt an ombre at all, just slapped it on and now it looks horrible with a very harsh line. I was in the Bronx area, searching for some of the top nail salons to recommend to my readers when I came across Blue Star Nails. What pulled me in was their advertised a sign for a full set for $35. I walked in, requested a full set, and they also stated the pedicure was an additional $20.00. I said okay, I’ll give them a try.
