On Saturday, Sept. 14, I visited Blue Ruby in Metrotown to purchase a bracelet to complement the permanent gold bracelet I already had on. I walked in to buy a necklace. I was quoted $250 for the chain and pendant, then they tried to charge me an additional $65 once I got to the till "for the chain".
My wife purchased a necklace for me three weeks ago, but it has not yet been worn. On boxing day weekend (today), we noticed the price had been reduced and decided to request a price adjustment so we could shop for additional items in-store. To our dismay, we discovered that your store does not offer price adjustments, and refunds are issued only as store credit on a gift card. Purchased a necklace earlier this year and they were so helpful. Unfortunately the chain snapped so I brought it back, and Angela was extremely happy to help to exchange the broken necklace for a new one without me having an account or receipt. I highly recommend coming here for a loved one’s gift. 🙏
I'm a fan of Blue Ruby products, but my recent visit to this Metrotown location was disappointing due to poor customer service. Despite attempting to seek assistance, employees seemed uninterested and engrossed in personal conversations. When I requested help, Shalom's demeanor was unfriendly and unhelpful. Her poker face and lack of enthusiasm made me feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, this experience has deterred me from returning to this location.
