The Blue Rock is lovely. Perched on a promontory overlooking the river, the dishes we had were well-conceived, perfectly cooked and presented. Cocktails were refreshing and flavorful. We started with maiitake toast, which was gorgeous and in late September a great use of the wild-foraged bounty. We had the duck with cherries and pomegranate, perfectly-cooked, garnished with mashed potatoes and squash cooked two ways.
