Very Unprofessional Experience & Poor Communication — August 14, 2026 Very disappointing experience. I took time off work, lost work hours, and drove to the office for my scheduled appointment. I checked in on time and waited 20–25 minutes, only to be told that my appointment needed to be rescheduled. No one called or notified me beforehand. Dr Koenig was attentive to my need to maintain my out door commitments through the summer with minimum pain. His forthright assessment of the risks of treatment options under consideration gave me confidence in choosing the regime best for me — a plan that had a good chance of minimizing my pain until the off season for a knee operation.
I saw Dr Koenig for a second opinion. While he confirmed I do indeed need surgery, his bedside manner and personality made me feel much more comfortable with having to have surgery. All of the office staff I have interacted with so far have been very pleasant and easy to communicate with. While I'm not thrilled about the necessity of surgery (who honestly is), I'm so very glad I was referred to this practice.
