Our family has been traveling to the Blue Ridge Mountains for 25 years for our annual winter vacation right after Christmas. In 25 years, we have never been as disappointed nor received such a poor level of service as we did during our past trip. Issues will arise that are out of everyone’s control but it is how they are handled that makes for good versus bad customer care. Just spent a long weekend at Majestic View Hideaway. This home appropriately named. The views were spectacular. The house was everything that we were looking for. There were many thoughtful touches such as the loaf of zucchini bread and fudge waiting for us when we arrived. The staff,especially Morgan, were very responsive to our questions. Will definitely rent from them again

If I could give zero stars i would. I began this vacation with a rental a month ahead of time. Upon arrival with friends in AWD vehicles, we got to the road and it was absolutely impassable. The maintenance guy with the company was in a 4wd vehicle and said he barely made it. By this time, a vehicle slid and got stuck in a ditch. We then waited THREE hours for a tow truck to come and even the tow truck was struggling.....we also lost $100.00 worth of groceries. We stayed at Katydid with our family of 5 people and 2 small dogs. The back yard was perfect for letting the dogs roam around a little, its got wire fencing attached to the split rail, so great while we enjoyed the hot tub or fire pit to let them wander safely. Also, the best feature for us was the upper deck gas fire pit with chairs - we spent time every day around this table. We loved the service we got from the staff too. Very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay at A Point of View. The name says it all! Beautiful views! Everything was clean and well stocked. Customer service was excellent! Highly recommend!
We just had our first experience with BRMR, and it was wonderful! We stayed in Todd, NC at River's Edge - beautiful property! What impressed me even more was the fact that the office called to let me know that they had found my special artist brushes/pouch I had left there while I was painting this beautiful area. They are actually mailing them out to me, and the young lady was so sweet when she talked with my mother! Will use them again!
