I love the raised bed mix in my vegetable garden! I use it when I create a new bed, and later as a topdressing/mulch. I have happy veg without any worry about animal manure/pesticide residue. Thanks, Blue Ribbon!
Friendly, responsive, and punctual service, reasonable price. I got 2 cubic yards of soil mix for my new raised beds. It's a narrow alley, but Frank worked some serious magic and was able to get the soil into our parking spot with very little clearance on all sides. I don't know how he did it! Would definitely recommend.
I got delivery about a month ago. First, delivery was great. A very friendly employee got it exactly where I wanted, stopping the dump halfway thru to move the truck. Second, great product. Fully hot composted with no weed seeds popping up. In my experience with fresh compost over the years important to note it's a bit hydrophobic the first year. A bit of humic acid goes a long way.
Such friendly service, John called back quickly and the delivery driver did a wonderful job navigating my narrow driveway. As I start to mulch I am noticing the difference in quality from the cheaper (and greenwashed) choice I made last year...tons of plastic and they used painted wood for mulch. Glad I was smarter this year and switched to Blue Ribbon.
I have been a loyal customer of Blue Ribbon Organics for many years. I rely on their compost to fortify my garden beds and top dress my lawn. They sell a quality product I count on.
