gotta have it! – Blue Ribbon is a family favorite for bbq! This is true southern cooking. The smell alone will win you over...
Great Food!, Large Portions, Big Cornbread! When you eat a meal from the Blue Ribbon Barbecue, it makes you remember your best barbecue experience as a kid.
Well Deserved Blue Ribbon... – I first ate here about six years ago, and haven't stopped yet. The smell as you walk in makes your mouth water, and as you read through the chalk board menu your stomach starts to rumble from the hunger. With so many different options, everyone can find something to eat. Along with there freshly baked dessert, and great pickles, and variety of sauces Blue Ribbon is a definite in BBQ.
Best Q around – It's all about the food. the place is more about takeout than eating in, although the decor is cool. Don't go there without getting the burnt ends. Great sides too. There needs to be one on the North Shore, though.
They earned that Blue Ribbon! – Blue Ribbon taught me to love barbecue. Fresh food, great sauces, imaginative specials, decadent deserts....And how can you not love a busy place that still remembers you, even when you moved out of the neighborhood two years ago?
Wet Ribs?? – Ask for the wet ribs when they are on special, where the meat falls off the bone. Moist and delicious. Efficient, reasonably priced and an excellent menu to please all.
one of the best – The Little location in west Newton serves up some of the tastiest Southern fare that I have tasted here in Boston- Go and check it out, and make sure to get some side dishes the Collard greens I had there were outstanding!
yeck!!!!! – i thought it was one of the worst barbaques I have ever had. They don't have beef ribs either
REAL BBQ!! – Am I lucky!! I liove around the corner from the West Newton location. It's worth your while to come out here and capture that fabulous taste.
