For almost two centuries the hotel has offered hospitality to locals and visitors alike. It began life in 1816 as a simple boarding house for summer visitors to one of America's earliest seaside resorts. Its owner, Thomas H. Hughes, called his new boarding house "The Big House". It was great all around pumpkin drinks awsome
My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast. I specifically love my blueberry pancakes. Place was nicely, tastefully decorated and cozy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Congress Hall since besides their great accommodations, they also offer superb dining options and experience.

Called 11 times to confirm that our reservation was for outdoor seating but no one ever picked up or responded to our voicemail. When we got there they said that they couldn't seat us outside as it was 1st available. My wife was really disappointed because she was looking forward to it and we literally did everything we could to contact them to avoid walking the mile there with our six year olds only to look for a different place to eat.
