The WORST place to go, especially for end of life care! They FAKE clay paw prints and overcharge you to cremate your beloved pet so they can NEVER make it right! Go anywhere else! I'm a certified professional in the field, trust me when I tell you that they are the worst and any other place would be a better choice.
Horrible. WE have been going here with our sick dog on and off for a while for emergencies, they have his history. We went in back in Feb. our dog was vomiting severely and drooling after we used a topical on him not sure if that was causing this. They knew of his severe reactions to things and sensitive. In addition he has had x-rays and such both there and at the other er location when we had to go there at one point. All this being said, our dog was NOT checked for liver enzymes, they were aware that he had slightly ... read more
Not sure what is going on with the impressively poor communication skills, including: face to face, phone and email. In my option good communication is essential for any health care situation. My guess is the standard operating procedures may be over-influenced by BluePearl’s Parent company, Mars Incorporated. This would make sense as Mars Incorporated is currently involved with litigation reflecting “Mars has failed to take action on the issue, despite clear knowledge of their support of the use of child and slave labor, ... read more
Worst experience ever. We brought our dog in to the Blaine location. Our dog had symptoms exactly the same some years back, took him to this location and had a great experience. This time, they talked us into a blood test for organs and it came back renal failure and she felt a mass in his stomach that was more like cancer; the dog should be euthanized then and there. He'd make it through the night, but not much beyond that. They said he was having kidney failure. We were in shock. Said no, we'll take him to our regular vet... read more
The absolute worst experience. After I called the clinic and gave the details on my dogs condition, I was told to bring her in immediately, and they would assess her as soon as we get there. We arrived 20 min later. She paged the back area and said there was an emergency up front and that she needed someone to come up to front immediately. There was a nurse/aide that happened to walk up who was extremely rude, didn’t even make eye contact with us, let alone look at the dog. She said to the front desk lady to have us sit down... read more

I brought my lab in for a possible life threatening disease. It took almost 2 weeks to get me my discharge paperwork . I had to call them constantly for info on treatment and medications in the meantime. Could never talk to the doctor or the doctors "team" always a receptionist. The best I could get out of the 10 days after my visit was that they want my dog to get another blood test that cost over $500. ( I don't have a problem spending any amount of money on my dog) That same exact test was under $200 at my general practic... read more
I spent 2 1/2 hours there crying as my puppy was in the backroom having seizures. I was told that the puppy more than likely had a liver shunt problem and was filling with toxins..which explains why he had multiple seizures since the night before. Surgery was $3,000 to $5,000 to correct...otherwise a special diet may give him a short life span. In the meantime they said whatever was causing this was affecting his brain and he was temporarily blind. They wanted me to pay almost $1000 in tests to confirm it was the liver. ... read more
I was recommended to take my Golden Retriever her for an UltraSound. The recommending facility, Coon Rapid Pet Hospital, felt it was an emergency. The back story is that our dog had stopped eating, became lethargic and was losing fur. We had an X-Ray at CRPH and they saw a mass but couldn't identify what it was. Of course immediately my partner and I left work to take him to Blue Pearl. They did an ultrasound and recommended more tests to the the tune of $1200 and wanted me to pay an additional $500 for overnight ho... read more
