Best Happy Hour in Portland Blue Olive has one of the best "happy hour" menus in Portland! Many of the items can be found on the main menu but for much less. The wine choices compliment the food and the service is always friendly. A comfortable neighborhood outing with good ambiance.

Wonderful garden dining Neighborhood gem, great Mediterranean food. A bit pricey, but worth it. Excellent service, diverse menu, good wines. We love the garden dining in summer, perfect for group meals.

Best Greek in Portland. The best Greek Food in Portland, hands down, no question! This food was amazing and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. A little pricey but...well, you feel like you're getting something authentic. Nothing against, Greek Cuisina, Alexia or the Mad Greek cafe's - The Blue Olive is in a league of its own.

Food and service is outstanding! Am from Los Angeles so I have great Mediterranean food at my disposal and the Blue Olive topped my list. BEWARE, some of the reviews below are for a different restaurant! Came here before my grandmother's funeral on a hunch that it may be good by the look of the place after just driving around. My expectations were exceeded. We came in before they were open and they seated us anyways. The chef wasn't there, but we started with hummus, cucumbers, bread and a nice wine which was all lovely. Great new bistro in NW Portland – We happened into this place tonight as there was no room in the inn for us anywhere else. It was a delightful experience. They serve Greek and Turkish influenced dishes that are reasonable in price, spicy without being hot, and well presented. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly--our server, Janelle, is a holdover from a previous incarnation at that restaurant and has definite and reliable opinions about what's best on the menu. disappointed! – The second worst dining experience of my life. We were so excited to finally try Malanga. Unfortunately, the menu was limited and both of our entrees were nearly inedible. The snapper was clearly not fresh, and quite tough. The vegetable stew (the only veg. entree despite what I had been told on the phone) was overly smoky with tough, dry vegetables.
