I was at Vail Jazz Festival on Saturday, 9/1 with a group of friends and we went to Blue Moose Pizza for lunch. We ordered 3 slices and a calzone. We waited and waited and waited some more while everyone around us were getting their food. The waiter was nice and embarrassed. The manager told us they only had one guy in the kitchen. Vail location the beer taps didn't work and I couldn't order a slice and overpaid for whole pies. The outdoor patio is extremely dirty especially the cobblestones. Greeting was slow in the table was never bused. Salad came out the same time as the pizza. The pizza was good though!
We changed our mind from wanting carry out to eat on the patio. The hostess made a point to condemn our decision. Instead of panting our food they brought it to us in to go containers without plates or silverware. Except for our waitress, Lexi, they treated us terribly and were rude. And the pizza stick to the to go box. Coming back in two weeks for my daughter’s surgery and won’t be back.
They need to employee more wait staffs. Long wait took 30minsnto order salad, soup and piece of pizza but it look hour to get any of food we ordered. Not going back!! Their are more restaurants in Vail. I'll say skip this one.
The food and service were both exceptional!
We love your pizza so much that we went before and after our hike for your slice + beer special :) the autumn? Mushroom pizza is my favorite. Thank you for refilling our water bottles too !
This was one of the best stromboli that I've ever had. The server knew exactly what to recommend for me when I asked and she was right! What's more she had a great attitude and her service with a smile was the highlight of our evening!!!
