Convenient, but not the best My family lives very close to this restaurant, so when we're in the mood for Mexican food we often come here. Though the food and service are nothing worthy of complaining about, I would not go out of my way to recommend this restaurant to others either. No thanks. I have been to this place several times (it's convenient to where I live) and have never been pleased with their food or service. There are always six or seven teenaged hostesses standing around, doing very little. This is not actually a criticism, it's more of a confused observation. What disappoints me is, after living in Los Angeles for seven years and actually tasting fine Mexican cuisine, the food at Blue Moon is tolerable at best. Mexican? Hardly.
