Day 28: We are thankful for our Chef and kitchen team! We love these guys!! Whether it is crafting us a comforting soup or creating us new things to love, this team is truly the best. This group has been working hard this year! Wearing masks for long hours over hot equipment is no easy task but they make it look easy. Since we were joined by chef Brendan Levin, a few months ago, we have seen beautiful carpaccios and delicate vegetable tarts. We truly can’t wait to see what is coming out of the kitchen next!
Day 26: We are grateful for cheese and charcuterie boards The most desired way to break bread at the Blue Moon, our boards- a choose your own adventure of tastes- are only great because of all the fine artisans we gather together. Day 25: 25 Years of working with Meadow❤️ We are grateful for our family who all works together, but for especially for Meadow!! 25 years on the 25th! She is a visionary, a creator, a get it done doer! From handling all of our behind the scenes technology, bookkeeping to creating delicious cocktail, Meadow can and has done it all at the Blue Moon! She is our glue and we are truly grateful for her every day❤️
Day 24: We are grateful for beach stones The beach stones that we brought into the restaurant used to greet you when you sat down at your table. Over and over again we watched as the stones, a simple natural element, brought guests joy and made them feel a sense of home. Now the stones’ job have changed slightly as they now signify that your table has been sanitized and is safe for you to sit down. We are so lucky to live so close to the ocean and the wonders that it brings.
Day 23: We are grateful for the Blue Moon Bar! (And all of our lovely bartenders over the years!) The Blue Moon bar was (and is!) a place where friends meet. We are so grateful to have this space and to have worked with such wonderful people that not only mixed a mean Beetnik but also filled the space with friendship and laughs.
30 Days of Gratitude Day 20: We are grateful for White Heron Tea It is such a blessing for us to be able to provide such amazing and beautiful tea blends and coffees to our guests. From the time when our customers bought tea blends in bulk in the market to the warm cup of Cranberry Apple Ginger that they now wrap their fingers around as they stretch out the season in our outdoor dining room. 30 Days of Gratitude Day 19: We Are grateful for deviled eggs I mean, what’s not to be a grateful for? A little nostalgia combined with amazing flavor combinations. They are ever changing but hold a dear spot in our hearts.
