The guest house features hostel style rooms and private rooms with shared kitchen and living space. The saloon is open with live music Wednesday thru Saturday and sometimes on Sunday, all guests of the house receive free entry to the saloon and your first beer is on us!

I got a bed, a show, drink, access to a show just across the street, PARADE, excellent bartender, cozy accommodations (think couches. clean bathrooms, kitchen, staff, etc). all within a few blocks of all the best Lafayette has to offer for get this........$18. Yeah, Mardi Gras festivities upped the ante a bit, but you can't seriously get/find a better deal in the South for music, food, drinks, and hospitality than the Blue Moon Saloon and/or Lafayette Lou. I would do my trip there over again in an instant.
We are from Colorado and wanted to hear some great music. This place is a small neighborhood bar and we had so much fun. The sound system was great and the staff were very welcoming to this group of out of towners. We will go there again if we are back in Lafayette!
Embrace it all! Everyone was so friendly! We stayed in the cute cottage in the back. It was darling!
Lots of variety music-wise and always a good time! Whenever someone comes to visit, we try to take them there.
One of the coolest places in Lafayette - one of my favorite places!!
