The service was fast and friendly and the food was okay. I am from Chicago and was hoping for a pizza that was something to talk about back home. . . It wasn't! The calamari was a bit chewy, not enough to send back but just okay
Great Old School Italian – This is a great old school Italian restaurant with red and white table clothes and big portions of great food at an affordable price. The Coal Oven baked pizzas are excellent as well.
Good Food My fiance raves about this place. He really likes the food and he said he could eat there every night! The place also has really good bread and salad.
Good solid old style Italian – Blue Moon is a classic old world Italian, redcheck tablecloths, wine bottle on the table, etc,. The food is very good and solid old school Italian American at affordable prices. Big sandwiches with sauce on the side, Big pizzas cooked in a coal fired oven, crunchy breads, classic pastas with their homemade garlicy red sauce all delicious and affordable.
Avoid Busy Hours! – The tables are tight and the food comes out immediately. If it is empty, the staff spends lots of time talking about the customers. The food is good as is the wine but the waiters and waitresses have a tendency to rush you!
Blue Moon Pizza I have heard so many raves about the salad at Blue Moon I had to try it. The price was over seven dollars which is beyond extreme but the salad was great, I have to admit. The pizza was pretty good. The down side is that this they only accepts cash payments so if you are not aware of that I guess it could be awkward. The prices are a bit high but the salad is the best I have every had.
