DO NOT GO HERE. I went to get my acrylics professionally removed today, or so I thought. My nails were not soaked but RIPPED off without any caution, patience or care. Ripping one of my nails completely in half and the other cracked halfway, both BLEEDING and throbbing in pain to this moment. An unsanitary and deeply unprofessional experience at Blue Lagoon Salon- Emerald Hills. A technician cut my skin until it bled and walked away, while staff giggled and thought it was funny whist speaking in another language and then asking me to put my hands into a filthy UV lamp, which after I told them they were all filthy they bought over a ‘cleaner’’ UV lamp. A complete breakdown in basic hygiene and customer respect and service.
Whilst my leg wax was good, both ladies kept talking in their own language. I guess its the norm, but I did understand " you hairy " while lifting up my trousers. Pedicure straight after wasnt any better. Again great job, but the entire time laughing and talking in another language. Never felt so uncomfortable, wont be going back!
I once had my nails done there, and never went back, untrained staff and did a rubbish job.
waited 30 minutes in a tub with cold water for a pedicure no update no telling me at the start it will take a while just left for 30 minutes
