Dirty, bedding very worn. Toliet flooded the bathroom and kitchen second day we were here. They came and fixed it that day and housekeeping came in to do a cleaning. I had made the beds that morning myself and housekeeping “remade” the beds but did not put clean sheets on the bed as the sheets already had a stain on it that was there when we checked in. I highly recommend Blue Heron for families, especially with children. We have a 5 year old and a 13 year old so of course their choice of activities are always different. This motel has everything so close together and all rooms facing the two pools and the beach, so it makes it easy to let my oldest play in the pool and I am seconds from him on the second floor. I love staying here but I usually end up staying somewhere I can see what's available online and make my reservations online. I would probably stay here every time down if it weren't for that. Love the rooms, private balconies, and having a fish cleaning table.
5 stars....location was great, rooms were basic and clean, 2 outdoor pools, 1indoor pool and hot tub, quiet, right on the beach, gift shop across the street , nearby restaurants, love it!!
Love this place,excellent hospitality. Rooms clean and couldn’t be a better location. 3 pools (one indoor) and all guests so nice to one another. This is the 35th year of us visiting, wouldn’t be a summer without a visit. Did not want to leave. The staff, Kathy and Ben always take care of us. Feel like we are with family. Can’t wait to return!
