Blue Heron's construction crew destroyed my side walk during their recent build off Sahara and Rainbow in Las Vegas. Their crew also turned off my sprinklers and killed 8 Japanese Blueberry trees. They sent some random guy out to look at the damage who claimed that Clark county requires them to repair the sidewalk and he agreed to replace the trees. I am disabled and often require a cane. I regretfully built my house with blue heron. Pros: good sales and design process. Cons: horrible craftsmanship, way over schedule, over 100+ warranty issues. You have to have a lot of patience as once you move it you will have so many things to fix. Took over 6 months of them in our house daily after we moved it to get it up to par. Really bad issues like structural integrity and functionality of plumbing, appliances, you name it. If you can name it, it had to be fixed or replaced. I own a BH home and deeply regret it. While the design of their homes are world class, it's only skin deep as the quality of their construction is the worst we've ever experienced in our thirty years of home purchases. Eight months into our ownership the following has happened: 1. Main heater stopped functioning during week of Christmas 2. All the kitchen doors had to be replaced due to mismatch of color tones 3.
