I have been at Blue Flint for over 10 years and used to trust the providers. In the last few years the standard of care has decreased substantially. The minimum treatment provided recently has placed some of my furbabies in a position where we were unsure if they would make it and then to get a follow up appointment is nearly impossible unless they should be seen atleast a month or two out. My dog Finn LOVES going there! He is so excited every time he goes. He loves everyone there, he even loves getting baths! I would recommend them. Years ago before they even knew who I was my daughter was out at the barn and no one was there and a kitten was really sick. She called me and told me, I was in Wilmington at the time. I told her to find someone and have them call me to talk to me about treating and payment. They didn't know me at all and agreed to take care of the kitten, which we ended up adopting. Spent over $700.00 and 5/6 visits for my dogs ear issues and skin irritation around vulva area. Creams, ear drops and 3 different kids of pills over 4 month period. Once the pills were gone, issues came right back..... they were not fixing the problem, just band aiding it to keep me coming back. Every visit was over $100.00. FINALLY went to another vet and ear issue is cleared up with 1 visit. Surgery was suggested for vulva issue which costs $500.00. This could have been done back in June. HORRIBLE VET!!!
