Horrible experience, very difficult to do anything with... they'll say one thing and do something else. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else, even if they are offer a higher APR because you'll wish you had later. Made a payment which came out of my bank on the 28th and they took until the 2nd of the following month to post on their end. Didn't even try to fix the situation at all and my credit suffered because they can't do their job in a timely fashion? Terrible experience!! I purchased two vehicles through Blue Federal CU (******** S550 & *** GLS550) and it took them 4 months to get our title correct. We are now going through the same process on our other vehicle. They tell you one thing and do another and don't really care about the troubles and time it takes. You have to hold there hand to get anything done right. We worked with the branch in Vista Ridge and Lafayette. From the branch managers and on down are just terrible. Stay away from Blue Federal CU!
This bank is horrible with customer service. I had a family emergency where I had a death in my family and so I was behind on payment for my loan and when they gave me a number for someone in customer solutions I called her every day for 5 days and left multiple messages and she never once responded back to me. That is absolutely ridiculous. It’s like there is no one to help you when you need them.
If I could give negative stars, I would. Access to my mobile banking was prematurely revoked. To rectify the situation, I was told I would be given a call that day to resolve. Call never came. I then spoke with representatives multiple times over the following days. Again being told 1-2 business days. Well, here we are, a month later, and I have still yet to receive a call to rectify the situation. My niece financed her auto loan with Blue Federal Credit Union. I signed on as her co-signer. They are alledging that the I am the primary named on this account and supposedly I opened a savings account with them. This is false and fradulent information. I have tried to correct them stating that I never I was never a primarily account holder. I have never made a monthly payment to Blue Federal Credit Union. We called trying to refinance. They apparently use a 3rd party person to handle some of there calls. The person asked us all our info and even asked me my passport number which I thought was odd. Well the next day I got someone calling me pretending to be from the FBI trying to get info from me. Now we are going to have to monitor our personal info and make sure no tries and uses our identity for any reason.
Shady experience dealing with my husband's car loan after his death. I notified BFCU of his death and sent them his death certificate, OFFERED TO PAY the entire balance to release the lien (I was not a co-signer on the loan so I am not responsible according to our state law), protected the car after his death by moving it from his temporary work site at which anyone could have stolen or damaged the vehicle, paid insurance for two months given the lien, and they still refused to quote a payoff. Blue Federal credit union. What a joke of a bank. Do not use it as my primary bank, had them due to a car loan. Did not have courtesy pay on with them. Somehow they got set as my primary source of payment through ****** and Blue fcu instead of denying all purchases, started charging me fees. Purchases were never funded but this did not stop them from charging me over $200 dollars worth of fees because "they received a request" what a joke of bank. I agree with some of what has been said here. I had a small balance left in a savings account which I intentionally left with this credit union. I was about to add a larger amount to this account and discovered that Blue Credit Union had deducted all the funds and closed my account. When questioned about this the representative stated the account was closed after inactivity fees had been deducted.
