Paid for new pool filter installation. Pool equipment is under trapdoor in a concrete sump set in our foundation lower than pool. Wife let workmen in while I was at work and they talked her into removing our sand filter. They sawed out our cutoff valves in the lines and just put in tubes so if I take the top off the new cartridge filter container to remove the filter the entire pool pours out through the tubes into the sump and house.
