Awful food and service. Plenty of dirt and mold! If you are looking for a decent bar/restaurant experience, I would steer clear of Blue Dog. I live in the area, just a few miles away, and over the years, this place has gone done hill. The bar itself is filthy! When you order a beer, drink, glass of wine, etc.. you almost always get a dirty glass with lipstick on it! Blue Dog Family Tavern is a disappointment! I went there ONCE! I was highly disappointed, b/c they had advertised karaoke...so, me and a group of girls all ventured out and they DID NOT have it. It was a disappointment. I didn't like the atmosphere anyway! I'm sure you can find another place that is better!
Mothers Day Brunch We went here for Mothers Day brunch. The service was slow, but the food was excellent. The staff was also slow to clean the tables around us. Price was good.
Other options We were only here once. I must say that, though not horrible, there are plenty of other options within a short driving distance where you can have a better meals for the same price.
