I would give ZERO stars if I were able to. BCBS of Michigan used to be a decent insurance company, but as of 2026 I have been denied sleep medication due to being forced to use Optum Rx for my prescriptions who states the reason for denial as "not covered," but also doesn't assist with an alternative medication. It was a saturday I called and got someone she said im.listed as Medicare im like number 1 im 63 number 2 I have msp retireee bcbsm state of michigan insurance. She said they open on monday I said why did this happen. She says probably a computer glitch. Your polices and setup of the website is deliberately designed to limit our access to medical / prescription care. BCBSBCN told us to go to your preferred pharmacy.
