I would never recommend them for anyone! They are the worst ever !!!! Customer service are so rude !! They excluded the coverage of GLP-1 medication for weight loss which is a scientific breakthrough that they should encourage people who are obese to take !! They never care about your health. They only care about their profit and how to cut costs!
Customer service was no help nor did they make any sense. I spent an hour on the phone with them and my issue never was resolved.
As a provider, I have had mixed experiences with BCBS. Their commercial plans are fine, but their medicaid product has resoundingly terrible support. They remitted a bad check that bounced, then the account executive Treva refused to help in the matter and ignored me. BCC still owes me for that bounced check and people wonder why professionals are choosing to depanel from insurances.
