RecommendedI would definitely recommend Christie to anyone interested in home birth. She is so attentive and listens to you and your needs. This was the by far my best labor, birth, and postpartum experience out of my 3.
My spouse and I had a very thoughtful, professional, and caring experience with Christie. She spent significantly more face time with us on appointments than any previous OB practitioner. Had significantly more solutions and minor lifestyle adjustments to improve pregnancy symptoms and difficulties. Was very available for any more severe problems. We felt significantly less alone in the entire pregnancy experience, and less manipulated into doing what was convenient than a traditional OB+hospital birth experience.
I am so thankful I found Christie, after multiple people referred me to her, my 5th pregnancy and first time using a midwife planning a home birth. It was beyond amazing, the experience of a lifetime and I pray I will be given the opportunity again. Christie was so incredible, so easy to talk to and feel supported. The day my son was born was as special and beautiful as can be because of her knowledge and gifts. Really the most beautiful wonderful experience I've ever had!!
*Pandemic 1st time Mama 2020* I was all set to have an unmedicated vaginal birth at the hospital when at 39 weeks, the end of March 2020 the whole world shut down. No one knew exactly what was going on, I was told I wasn’t allowed to have my doula or my mom at the hospital only my husband. From our first visit with Christie, I felt heard & cared for, as I told her the story of my daughter's birth. Over the course of 9 months she helped instill a confidence in me that regardless of where we birthed, we would feel respected and supported. Christie helped me work through some hard emotions from my traumatic birth experience. I’ve since used her techniques with other traumatic experiences I have had. I’m really grateful for her and how she helped me. I feel more healed than I thought I could ever feel. She is a very gentle person, very validating and encouraging. I trust her and feel she has my best interests at heart. I can’t wait to have her as my midwife next time I have a baby. ❤️
Amazing mid-wife that has such insight and good character!!
Christie is just the best. I feel so supported and cared for even outside of my scheduled appointments she checks up on my well being and is always there to answer questions. I am so very excited for her to help me bring my baby into the world.
