The Blue Bottle at Moynihan Train Hall was such a pleasant experience. Jess and Brian in particular were welcoming and kind after a long day of travel. Can’t express how great the customer service I experienced was!
This place’s rating as the worst Blue Bottle in NYC is well deserved. GoogleMaps says they open at 5:30AM. I showed up at 5:45AM and there was a hand-written sign saying they opened at 6AM. They finally opened up the store at 6:10AM (40 min late), and one of the employees just sat in the back while the other employee tried to act as the solitary Cashier + Barista for a 50+ line. Whoever runs this Blue Bottle should probably be fired. Any Blue Bottle with a 2.8 star review average is screaming “this place is a dumpster fire”.
Despite this location being subject to a constant barrage of frazzled train passengers, the staff were incredibly sweet! Left with a great mood light and a good iced latte! -Tasmania
Stated opening was 5:30 AM. At 6:20 AM I was told it would be another ten minutes before they open.
This spot usually open at 5.30am. I always taking a train at 5.45am to DC and stopping by there for matcha latte. People (including me ,of course) were staying there and waiting. There’s no announcement that they gonna open at 6am. Not any sign about it. The woman (bartender probably) said we open at 6am only because we asked. And for my question why today at 6am or they changed the hours ,because google says work hours is 5.30am-7pm and marked as open. The woman just keeps saying 6am and just walked away.
