I ordered a decaf latte and they made me a caffeinated one by accident but then caught themselves before giving it to me and made another one that was decaf. They also didn’t have my preferred sugar substitutes (Splenda or Stevia), they only have raw erythritol (which I’m not a big fan of).
I was underwhelmed by this Blue Bottle experience. For a place serving coffee drinks that ranges from $6.25 to $8.50 under a very reputable brand name, I would expect chairs to be more comfortable and tables to be more clean. Things that could be improved: *We sat at the counter, but it was a bit dirty with a bunch of pastry crumbs, an old coffee cup, and a receipt on the floor. *Chairs are mostly wooden blocks, so it's very uncomfortable. Drink here tastes horrible. The barista here is some untrained amateur summer intern. Not worth it for the price tag ($7+tip). I throw the coffee away after one sip. Ps- so sad but BB used to be pretty good and I really loved their drink
