Of the various Blue Bottle locations I’ve visited in the Bay Area, this San Mateo locations remains my favorite. There is usually single origin coffee beans available for sale when it can be sold out elsewhere. The layout is large, with high ceilings, and divided area for seating and ordering drinks where you can see the coffee bar from the back and front, creating an open space layout that is both relaxing and welcoming.
