Very disappointed. I ordered a cream cheese King Cake so that it would be fresh, and not a stale leftover that had been sitting out. After I got home and cut into it with family, we discovered that it was plain with barely any cinnamon and no cream cheese, and the cake was VERY dry. Very disappointed in this experience, especially since this bakery is one of the only places in Ft Worth that you can even find a King Cake. We used Blue Bonnet Bakery for our wedding day. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and turned out exactly as we imagined the design to be. We ordered the mocha and red velvet flavors for our layers. Both were incredibly moist and the flavor was exactly what we expected. This was even after the cake had been delivered approximately 5 hours before we even cut into it. Thank you Blue Bonnet!
They lost my order for a special cake called in a week previous to the occasion. I drove in from Azle...no apologies; they just said they could decorate an existing cake if I could wait. After many years of making great cakes for my extended family, they have permanently lost all of our future business...I stated this...to indifference. this was last July, only posting now to let some of my anger and disappointment subside.

Google says you still make salt rising bread. If so do I have to order ahead or do you make it everyday. Stein's is just a little too far.
