The main attraction at this club in Newport Beach is the great live jazz seven nights a week. The Edmund Velasco Quintet tears up the place every Sunday night. The crowd is mainly beach bunnies and dudes, so it is a big-time pickup spot and a great place to take a date, as long as you don't mind their eyes wandering toward the sexy scenery at the bar. I love the blue beet nostalgic and always good food and drinks and good company then walk on the pier good times

The turn of the century architecture and decor give a classy yet cozy vibe with lots of dark crannies for dark deeds ;) The menu is classic American fare; the strip steak, prime rib, and rack of ribs are especially excellent. Fully stocked bar and superb wine list with knowledgeable, helpful staff.
