Simple story: I ordered 2 separate single-core solar cables. Made it clear that they were to be separate cables. Got a single twin-core one instead. Flagged it. Shane admitted it was his mistake... then things went sideways when I asked for a solution. Spoke to Shane about buying some 50mm2 cabling for my Triumph starter solenoid to starter motor. Answered my questions politely and in depth. Was even happier with delivery included in the price for one lead. Received 2 days later. Product looks great and well made. Wish I’d found him before I paid 4 times the money to get high current flow cables from the U.S. Thank you.
Australia Post lost my order, and instead of taking responsibility Shane told me it wasn't his fault and that I needed to repurchase the item. Under Australian Consumer Law, the merchant is responsible for ensuring the item is delivered, but Shane became combative and dismissive when I pointed this out. He has now stopped replying to my emails and phone calls entirely. I have initiated a chargeback with my bank to get my money back. Absolutely abysmal service. Missing items, bad customer service. I bought battery cables off this company on a thursday, they didn’t send them until Monday, then they forgot to ship 1/3 of the items, I call to tell them and Shane who answered couldn’t care less and was rude on the phone and essentially hung up. Told me he was going to call after lunch (12:00 pm) because he was busy or whatever and proceeded not to call at all, I had to e-mail him at 2 o’clock to get a response.
