we love sitting and drinking and eating at Blu, but the music is terrible. Every employee and customer we surveyed said the experience would be enhanced by better music, specifically beach music, for instance, THE BEACH BOYS. The manager said this change could only be made by the owner, Mr. White. So please Mr. White, turn this crap off.
Returned to Blu this weekend for my third visit. The new patio area is nice but the menu was disappointing. The oysters and scallops were no longer on the appetizer menu and the crab cakes were not available as an entree. View was fabulous, service and drinks were good. Expect more coastal options while eating on the beach.
Heather our server was great but the food is just not good. We have a party of 12 and really the only table here. All of our fish is overcooked. The best food on the table are the fries. Great atmosphere and good drinks but eat some where else.
We loved our final night dinner at BLU. Fabulous food, and ambiance. And Will, our server, was terrific!!!!

My husband and I booked a reservation for their Mother’s Day buffet. Once seated, it took 25 minutes for anyone to get our drink orders. After making eye contact with multiple staff members and getting no attention, I approached a managerial looking staff member who didn’t make an effort to look at me nor finish his task and seek out a replacement waitress. It’s was towards the end of their buffet period (after 2) and they were not crazy busy. Food was very good, but not sure It’s worth the endless wait.
