I had forgotten until recently, but I had an interaction with this woman (Vanessa) in 2024 where she claimed autistic people didn't need to meet the diagnostic criteria for autism to be autistic, and that she was an "expert." Mind you, this was a woman where her highest degree and license was a master's in social work and had only been practicing for a year. The worst therapy experience I ever had!! She’s so rude in the session and mispronounced me a couple of times. She labeled herself as an autism specialist but she was very invalidating my experience!
