I’ve taken a long time to consider this review. I found Bloom from an Instagram post I came upon. I’d decided to let my silver hair grow out and wanted to get highlights to make the transition look a little less stark. I scheduled online, but the stylist texted and asked to reschedule. I did. I spent $850 on hair extensions at Bloom in September 2024, and the experience was very disappointing. The extensions were placed too far back, looked unnatural, and despite multiple attempts to troubleshoot (including paid appointments), the issue was never resolved. I had to remove them less than two months later, which meant losing both the service cost and the expensive extension hair I purchased through the salon, since it had been cut and could not be reused. I will not be returning to Bloom. I once had a fantastic stylist there, but he moved to Vegas. I tried another stylist afterward, but the service wasn’t the same. Fast forward 5yrs, I decided to give the salon another try because I knew someone who worked there and had heard positive feedback. When I arrived for my appt, my stylist wasn’t there.
