I have suffered with TMJ issues for about 15 years. My symptoms have been jaw and ear pain, headaches, grinding and clenching of my teeth as well as sleep issues. A dental splint protected my teeth from further damage but did not relieve the other symptoms. I came to Bloom because I was looking for an orthodontist in Alberta who had a “full body” approach. I had breathing difficulties and a narrow palate and Dr. C went right to the root issues. I appreciated her attention to detail and understanding of my situation. Since treatment started I’ve been sleeping better, breathing better, and have an overall higher quality of life. My daughter has a pretty strong aversion to dental work. She was nervous the first time we went in, much more relaxed the second, and now she is willing to go back. Which is a huge improvement. Excellent care.
