I am so grateful to have found someone like Sophie at Bloom Bodywork! I feel lucky to have a knowledgeable somatic healer and massage therapist. It’s a beautiful space and Sophie is a wise and friendly healer. It feels like she is a partner with you on your healing journey!
In her studio, Sophie offers a place of peace and safety, and her intuition and strong hands find the right spots to release aches and pains during massages. But then the real relief for stress is done through her use of somatic healing. With gentle hands she guides me to identify, name, and then ultimately release the culprits of my anxiety. I have been seeing Sophie for a few years now and cannot recommend her highly enough. Injury, chronic pain, just life stress - she's been a key part of helping me manage all of it. Location is very walk/transit friendly, and weekend availability is a big plus for me.

Sophie impressed me from the beginning with her extensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system of the body, how its parts interconnect and the role of neurological activity in maintaining health. She strongly values the mind/body connection. She established a good rapport and earned my trust early on. She brings professionalism, knowledge, skill, compassion and kindness to our sessions.
