Their antiquated computer system prevented me from donating blood. They called the person that should be able to fix it and couldn't. I talked to him as well and he blamed the person behind the desk, saying they are not performing the procedure correctly and that any thing outside of the procedure will cause the system to crash.... Said he would talk to the training staff. This comes down to bad IT. Excellent customer care. Phlebotomists and staff are helpful, make it easy to donate blood. Scheduling is super easy as well.
Have never had a bad experience at this location, they are always quick and friendly. Today Diane helped me and she was very educational and friendly.
Bloodworks is the only place I'll go to donate blood, platelets, or super red cells. I've been donating with them for over 20 years. The Vancouver location, like the rest, is a special place. Every person on the team is fantastic! They make it such a pleasurable experience, and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to be a positive part of a stranger's life.
