I drove all the way here just to be told my dad couldn’t donate blood because he doesn’t speak English, what type of policy is this ! They wouldn’t let me be an interpreter either!
Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. I didn’t eat before I went so they asked me to go and get a meal first and come back and donate my blood. No problems with inserting the needle. No discomfort. And snacks at the end! From now on I will eat a big meal before I go, and make sure I drink plenty of fluids. Great staff, nice atmosphere and the reclining chairs are great. I’ll consider doing the double reds and plasma for future donations too.
Love going here. Glad I can start back giving blood. It's an easy way to help others every 2 months. And the snack/drinks are good afterward. 😁
