I had to give a 2 star for the fact is that the person who was taking my donation (Delaney) had a little attitude problem because I was asking a lot of questions on why my blood flow was slow and when I do ask a question she would change the subject because she does not want to answer them.The last 2 times I came to donate the blood flow was really slow & Delaney said it was because I was either dehyrated or my arteries or veins were clogged and I know either of these 2 things are not accurate because my blood flow has never... read more

Since moving to the Penninsula, I've felt more at home after donating blood and platelets to this Bloodworks NW location after every visit. The crew here is extremely kind, professional, and welcoming. My afternoon platelets donation today ended early due to my feeling lightheadedness and faint. In a blink of an eye every member of the staff available was quick and attentive to my needs to safely bring me back to good as new. I donated here about 5 times. The people here have amazing bedside manner. The ladies here never struggled to put the needle into my left vain. I have very small veins and I am aware that it can be a struggle, but I still do not let that discourage me from donating. It wasn’t until I donated in a different state that I was grateful for the experience I had here because the man had terrible bedside manner. I would come here to donate with my lovely friend, and it was always an enjoyable experience.
