I donated here about 5 times. The people here have amazing bedside manner. The ladies here never struggled to put the needle into my left vain. I have very small veins and I am aware that it can be a struggle, but I still do not let that discourage me from donating. It wasn’t until I donated in a different state that I was grateful for the experience I had here because the man had terrible bedside manner. I would come here to donate with my lovely friend, and it was always an enjoyable experience.

I have donated blood for years at different locations. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff here in NOT pressuring me to donate if I had ANY potential issues to bar me from eligibility. Having had bad experiences in the past with clinics that viewed me as a meat bag, to the detriment of my health at times (let alone the quality of my donation), this is a major priority for me when selecting a donation clinic.
Bloodwork’s NW does *NOT* pay their plasma donors like other donation centers. I looked everywhere online to find this out and it isn’t addressed anywhere, even on their website. They should consider adding that information to their extensive info page on plasma. Finally, I just called and asked them directly, and they confirmed that none of their donors are compensated in any way.
