This didnt happen so recently but i saw someone w a blood assurance t-shirt and remembered it happened - ive donated blood a dozen times but stopped after this experience Blood assurance came to my highschool and i volunteered in donating blood When I was in line this bigger caucasian lady was asking me the standard questions, to which I replied “yes/no.” At my very first “yes” answer, she stopped and looked me dead in my eyes and got upset. I've been coming here for years. The earliest I can get there after work is 5:40. I've never had an issue until today they told me 530 is the latest I can arrive. Guess they need to change there closing time to 530.
Staff was kind and considerate. CO office says I can't donate blood because I have an order that expired six years ago but still need a Dr to cancel the expired order. Appointment was set online with no indication of this issue. Drove for over 30 minutes away from home to be turned away. They could not give me the supposed Drs name on the expired order so I have no clue who to contact. Can't recommend this company at this time.
This was a great place three years ago when I found it after my red blood cell count spiked. I donated regularly and loved the place, especially compared to the Red Cross I had used in Marietta. Sadly, it seems the place was bought by another company a year or so ago and most of the good is now gone. Preciously, the staff was super professional, very capable and I never had an issue.
