I have high iron 15.2 my doctor told me if I donate blood it would lower my iron. I donated to blood assurance a couple of months ago at it was fine. I did it in Dayton. Today I drove to Cleveland because they won't be in Dayton until middle of July. Since the last te my doctor put me on arthritis meds and now blood assurance won't take my blood because it's no good to them unless I take a form to my doctor and bring it back. They didn't offer to fax a form to my doctor and let me get rid of some iron. That would have me dri... read more

These people are very very unprofessional I had a direct donation and they don't like that because they aren't getting the blood so they was very rude every donor I brought in they denied them on purpose when I need my surgery soon if you want to donate please use someone else. Also they said if I came back in 1 more time they was going to deny me anyway and if my surgery Is so important why did I wait so long but I even had my surgery put off 2 times to get this done and they deny everyone I bring.
