STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!! This has got to be the absolute worst service provider I have ever dealt with in the course of renovations -- and I have renovated a number of houses and apartments. It's almost as if they sit around trying to figure out how to deliver the WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE IMAGINABLE. Shame on Block Tops, Inc. Block Tops takes advantage of their employees and exploits them. A Union is currently attempting to form to prohibit this company from abusing their employees. Since then they unlawfully laid off employees and are attempting to persuade the rest their employees to vote No on a Union, which is illegal! Block Tops should be aware that happy employess produce happier clients and better business.

Beautiful Countertops! – Being single I was a little unsure of using Home Depot because of having to get my own plumber, them getting Block Tops etc. Block Tops called immediately but the girl that left her number and extension would not return my calls. Once I called the installation department direct I got excellent service and professionalism all the way. Great professional job – These folks did a really great job on my new granite counter tops. They were the sub for Home Depot. The man who came to measure and create the templates was really helpful advising on ways to do the backsplash and garden window, too. The installers were great; worked their tails off ans took special care with that difficult and crooked garden window. :-) The seams came out really good, maybe one could've been a little better, but you only notice in direct sun. Shady Customer Service – We recently had granite counter tops installed by Block Tops. We had ordered through Home Depot and Block Top is subcontracted by them. The day that they installed our counters, I had the brand new faucet right there but for some reason they didn't see if it would fit in the holes they made. So I hired a plumber to come out to hook up the dishwasher and connect the pipes and sure enough they didn't drill the holes right for the new faucet to fit.
