Called made appointment for a consultation, Short wait. Han comes to waiting room waves me into his office no handshake. I introduce myself with handshake and he points at name tag. Just gave me a blank stare with a forced smile made me do all the talking. Gives no feedback. Turns out he only wants to file my taxes. Not what I made the appointment for. Told him I’m leaving that’s not what I wanted. Still has a great smile the whole time. Continues to read my tax form as I’m packing my things.
Had a set price for claiming 3 years , they charged me the price for one year 3 times by accident then claimed that they didn’t . I came in with a bank statement confirming it and they still denied they took it . On top of that they told me I had to come back in and pay another $124 for a year that also had already came out of my bank account . Totaling $500 of what was supposed to only be $200 . Now my return is being held up until I pay yet another charge. Do not recommend.

Two years in a row my tax advisor got sick and just stopped responding to me. That would be fine, except the online system does not allow you to contact anyone else, and the H&R Block customer service agents have no idea to help in this situation. Both years I ended up calling local offices multiple times until someone answered in order to get them to figure out what to do, and both times I filed late because of this. Block Advisors' online system is atrocious, and all the CPAs freely admit this. Stay away.
