Horrendous experience at HR Block. I was horrified to learn at the end (once my tax filings had been completed and submitted) that the tax “professional” that was assigned to my account doesn’t not have a CPA or other degree. The person had simply completed an online course that qualifies them to file taxes in California. I only learnt this when presented with a form to sign at the end that showed her qualifications and that HR Block has taken out a $125,000 Surety Bond on their employee to cover any legal issues in case the... read more
Block Advisor, Mr. Zishen (Sam) Wu, EA became my tax advisor following the retirement of my previous tax advisor of 26 years. Sam demonstrated the knowledge level of a consummate professional who possesses a caring personality. I completely trust his judgement.
