Never told me about estradiol for UTIs. Didn’t look at my meds for possible complications. Didn’t want to do scan. Finally got one and I had a mass. And they emailed to tell me but didn’t call for days. I had to call them. And today I got a survey about my prostrate! I’m a woman!!’
I had to reschedule an appointment with my regular urologist, and Dr. Bloch agreed to see me. I found his bedside manner to be excellent. He asked a lot of pertinent questions. He listed symptoms and asked if I had any. He had me use the restroom, then had a nurse do an ultrasound of my bladder, just to be sure I was completely evacuating. Absolutely terrible. Ran over an hour late, and then rushed through the appointment and was not helpful or responsive to issues. Suggested the problem was just diabetes when I see a primary physician regularly and do not have diabetes. Just a complete waste of time.
I have used Dr. Bloch for over 2 years. With BPH, he prescribed Flomax and Proscar. Then I started having urinary frequency. I did my own research and recommended UroLift and PVP green light procedure to control the urgency. Dr. Bloch then put me on Oxybutynin and that has controlled my frequency. There are other Urologists at COUG if you need them.
