Nursing was extremely painful and my baby was gaining weight very slowly. She was extremely fussy and never seemed content. I reached out to Lisa, a fabulous IBCLC lactation consultant with an equally fabulous personality. She noted that the baby was tongue and lip tied and gave us guidance. I am so grateful to Lisa of Blissed out Mamas. She was so helpful and made me feel incredibly comfortable. Nursing has not come easy to me at all and without her, I don't think that my son and I would have the breastfeeding relationship that we do. Going to Lisa's breastfeeding support group has helped me connect with other women in similar situations. I also really like the nipple cream she makes!
